Cremation services

A cremation service can be shaped entirely around your loved one — religious or non-religious, formal or informal. Services may take place at a crematorium, church, chapel, or another chosen setting. Music, readings, photographs and personal tributes can all be included to reflect the life and personality of the person you are remembering.

We will guide you with:

  • choosing a celebrant, minister or officiant

  • selecting music, hymns and readings

  • preparing orders of service and stationery

  • planning the structure of the service

  • guidance on ashes, including scattering, burial or keeping them at home

Additional options can include:

  • floral tributes arranged through trusted local florists

  • dressing your loved one in personal clothing or meaningful items

Burial services

Burial remains a traditional and meaningful choice for many families.

Services can be held at a church, chapel, graveside or another chosen location, and may be religious or non-religious.

Craig and Simon will guide you through the process clearly, including all necessary paperwork and liaison with cemeteries or burial authorities.

We can arrange burials in:

  • woodland or natural burial grounds

Green and natural funerals

For families who prefer a more environmentally conscious approach, we can arrange green and natural funerals. These services are often held in woodland or natural burial grounds and focus on simplicity and sustainability. Options may include:

  • biodegradable coffins such as wicker, bamboo or cardboard

  • natural or seasonal floral arrangements

  • clothing made from natural fibres

  • guidance on choosing an appropriate natural burial site

We will explain each option clearly so you can make informed decisions that feel right for your family.

Direct cremation

A direct cremation is a simple and dignified cremation without a service or attendance at the crematorium. This option is often chosen by families who prefer a quiet farewell or who wish to hold a memorial at a later time. It includes:

  • care of your loved one at our funeral home

  • cremation at a local crematorium

  • all necessary arrangements and paperwork

  • ashes returned to you

There is no service, procession or formal attendance on the day.
